During the signing ceremony, Ethiopian Media Authority Deputy Director-General, Mr. Gizaw Tesfaye, stated international expos that strengthen the media sector are held in different countries, and getting started now at the national level is a big step forward for the media, therefore, we will continue to work in collaboration.

The expo, which will take place in Addis Ababa in June 2022, aims to facilitate the transfer of technology and information between local and international media. More than 80 media outlets and 500 participants will share their perspectives.

To make this event world-class and of high quality, On promotion PLC is not only collaborating with the authority, but also with Basic Lead, a company based in Los Angeles. It is also stated Ethiopia will be participating in the DISCOP Africa Media Expo in Kigali, Rwanda, organized by Basic Lead, which will be held in December.
